Life Coaching
Life coaching is carried out by one of our counsellors at the centre who is qualified in this approach. Life coaching is suitable for clients whose priority is to focus on achieving future goals and aspirations. The coach will work with you to identify goals that you are passionate and excited about, and challenge you to recognise your potential. You will then be helped to create and follow a plan of action to achieve your goals.
Child and Family therapy
Our Tavistock trained child and family therapist offers sessions to:
The individual child
The child with family members including parent's
The child and parent/s
Clinical training placements and low cost counselling
Clients who request to be seen by a trainee can do so at a reduced cost where this is suitable. The centre offers clinical placements to trainees who are in the final stages of their counselling training. This arrangement is in conjunction with the University of Kent and London based Universities. Trainees will be engaged in a Diploma or Master’s Degree programme in counselling. The trainees are mature individuals who have usually had previous experience in the field of mental health. Their work is monitored and supervised by highly qualified psychotherapists.
