• A Relate trained couple counsellor

UKCP [United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapists] is the registering body for all psychotherapists who have trained through an organisation recognised by the UKCP. The training for psychotherapists on the register will have been detailed and extensive. Once on the register each individual has to re-apply on an annual basis to remain on the register. They must show evidence of their continued professional development. In addition to registration the psychotherapists at the centre have Master’s degrees in psychotherapy.

BACP [British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists]. All counsellors at the centre are qualified to Diploma level in counselling and all observe the BACP code of Ethics. In addition some are accredited through the BACP for which denotes their extensive training and experience. [Please note that being an accredited counsellor is different from those who are members. Membership is open to anyone].

BPS [British Psychological Society] The psychologists at the centre are registered as  chartered counselling psychologists with the BPS.
